Who we are:

HeathShield Practice Management was founded on the idea of improving the business side of patient care. This area of a physician’s office is far too often neglected and can result in serious cash flow problems. As a firsthand witness to this in his own family, Sheel Patel founded the company to address these concerns. Prior to completing a certification course in medical billing/coding, Mr. Patel worked as an equity analyst who researched and invested in health care information technology companies. Through this experience he gained valuable insight into how successful businesses are run. With over 25 years in combined experience in medical billing, HealthShield has developed the expertise to include contract management, provider credentialing, and enrollment.

Due to the increasing and varied challenges in the industry, especially the ones from the insurance carriers, we have partnered with Kareo to use their state of the art billing and practice management software which brings total transparency to your practice.

We are a service-focused company capable of fulling requirements of small to large organizations utilizing a vast resource of experienced and trained personnel.
